Bio

Abraham Soquar joined the Firm's London-based subsidiary in 2002 to focus on primary and secondary investments in Europe. He spent two years in HarbourVest's Hong Kong-based subsidiary where he concentrated on primary investments in Asia Pacific and emerging markets. Most recently, Abraham returned to the Firm's London-based subsidiary to focus on primary investments in Europe, Asia Pacific, and emerging markets. Abraham serves on the advisory boards of several private equity partnerships, including funds managed by CapVis, Mid Europa, EQT, Hutton Collins Partners, and Indigo Capital. He joined HarbourVest from JPMorgan, where he was an analyst in the Media Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Abraham is a member of the Adam Smith Institute, an economic think tank, and is an SFA Registered Securities and Financial Derivatives Representative. Abraham received an MA (with honors) in Economics and History in 1999 and a Masters degree in Economic and Social History in 2000, both from Oxford University.
