Bio
Mr Pode has twenty years of research experience, and is an expert at sourcing and evaluating business opportunities in the services sector. Mr Pode started his career as a parliamentary assistant and later ran his own research consultancy business, which counted among its clients Microsoft, Rank, Procter & Gamble and Ernst & Young. Before joining WPE in June 2004, he was Head of Business Intelligence for a leading PFI and support services FTSE 250 firm, where he undertook comprehensive Europe-wide market and competitor analysis. Mr Pode guided the operational and strategic decision-making, as well as identifying commercial, acquisition and disposal opportunities. Mr Pode had previously spent three years as a Professor in the Department of Research, Intelligence Analysis at Mercyhurst University, Pennsylvania. While there, he undertook a range of assignments for US Government departments, including the Drug Enforcement Agency and the National Security Agency. Mr Pode first degree was in Middle Eastern Politics & History from the School of Oriental & African Studies in London.
