Joined 3i in 1997 where he completed numerous transactions, including completing Morris Homes (Management Buyout of a house builder) and exiting TVI Europe (supplier of tachometers). Joined Barclays Ventures in November 2003, since then has played a key role in a number of deals. Transactions in the support services sector include, Integral, Hall & Kay Fire Engineering, Garwyn and UPS. Other deals worked on include, Canada Square Health and Fitness (turnaround in the leisure sector), Medical Diagnostics and Imaging (Management Buyout/roll-out of a healthcare business) and Kee Safety (Buy-in Management Buyout of a branded safety products supplier). Degree in engineering at Durham University. Qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in London, working in their Business Advisory and Corporate Recovery divisions.
