Amar Anand

Bio

Amar joined Cinven in 2007 and is part of the Business Services investment team. He also has responsibility for helping to formulate the firm’s strategy in emerging markets and, in particular, represents Cinven’s India initiatives related to their portfolio companies and new investments involving a European-India angle. Previously, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Advanet International in New York. Prior to this, Amar was a Vice President at Citi in their Global M&A and Strategy group and a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. Amar holds an MSc in Finance & Economics from the London School of Economics and a BA in Economics from St Stephens College, New Delhi.
