Bio

Prior to joining ETF, gained experience both in strategy consulting and in technology research. He was a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group for two years, and focussed mainly on strategic due diligence work and covered a wide range of industries including the high-tech, energy, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and financial service industries. Before BCG, worked as a Research Fellow at Cambridge University developing solar cells made from novel organic semiconductors. Published over a dozen journal and book articles on the subject and has spoken on many conferences across Europe, the US, and Asia. Is also a co-founder of the Cambridge Tech Ventures Conference. A German national. PhD degree in physics from Cambridge University and was a Gates Scholar, and a Diploma in physics (distinction) from the University of Munich.
