Chris C Casciato

Bio

Chris Casciato is a Managing Director of Lightyear Capital and a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining Lightyear Capital in January 2008, Mr. Casciato spent over 20 years at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he was elected Partner in 2000. Mr. Casciato’s most recent role was as a Partner in the Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Casciato also held several senior roles at Goldman Sachs. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Casciato spent five years as an officer in the United States Army. Mr. Casciato serves on the Board of Directors of Lightyear Capital portfolio companies Cascade Bancorp, Clarion Partners, and Community & Southern Holdings, Inc. Mr. Casciato holds a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he was class valedictorian.
