Bio

Joined Langholm in early 2002, and is responsible for all investment activity outside the UK. Has over 15 years’ experience in private equity, particularly in working with management teams to improve performance and make successful acquisitions, divestitures and IPOs. Joined Langholm from Industri Kapital, and became a Director in 1993. In 1997, established IK’s office in Hamburg, and held the position of Joint Managing Director with responsibility for building up a private equity operation in the German market. Prior to joining IK, spent six years with Enskilda in Hamburg and London. During more than 9 years at IK, was closely involved with a number of their consumer- facing investments, such as Hjem-Is Europa A/S, Nobia AB (Poggenpohl, Magnet & HTH brands) and Fona Gruppen A/S. A Danish national, and speaks French, German and the Scandinavian languages. Vice Chairman of Tholstrup Cheese (Castello and Saga brands) for 4 years. Has held board positions with Langholm’s investments in Lumene, Farmos and Cane-line. Studied at the Copenhagen Business School receiving MBA from the Ecole Européenne des Affaires (studying in Paris, Oxford and Berlin).
