Bio

Mr Dan Kipp is a senior investment professional with over 20 years of experience in investment banking and private equity. Prior to forming Winona Capital Management, he was with the Banc of America Securities LLC unit of Bank of America. Most recently, he held the position of Managing Director and Senior Executive for Midwest Corporate and Investment Banking. In this role, he led Bank of America’s internal and external activities with key corporate clients in Chicago and the Midwest, overseeing such services as merger and acquisition advisory assignments, public underwritings of equity and debt offerings, private placements, bank loans and loan syndications, and other principal wholesale banking products. Prior to this, Mr Kipp served as the company’s Global Co-Head of the Consumer & Retail Corporate & Investment Banking Group. He has also held positions with Salomon Brothers (now Citigroup), SG Cowen and PNC Bank. Mr Kipp serves on the boards of American Education Group and Peter Millar. Mr Kipp earned his MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia and his BA from Miami University. He holds his NASD series 7, 63 and 24 (supervisory) licenses.
