Dan Lubeck is the founder and managing director of Solis Capital Partners, a private equity firm focusing on investment in middle market companies. During his career, Mr. Lubeck has participated in more than 65 company acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to founding Solis in 2002, Mr. Lubeck co-founded a leveraged buyout company, Unique Investment Corporation, and, in 1992, was a founding partner of Southern California-based business law firm, McIntyre, Lubeck, Borgess & Burns. Previously, he specialized in corporate and real estate acquisitions and divestitures at two national law firms, Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker and Manatt, Phelps & Phillips. He has lectured at prominent universities and business schools on the subjects of private equity and finance, including NYU Business School, HEC International Business School in Paris, Pepperdine University Business School and Chapman University. He serves on a variety of private company boards of directors and advisory boards, of which he currently chairs four. Previously, Mr. Lubeck served as chairman of a publicly traded company and has been interim CEO/president of two operating companies. Mr. Lubeck earned a law degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego. He is chairman of the Southern California chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). He also serves on the board of a non-profit, Team Kids.
