Bio

Daniel K. Flatley has over 23 years of experience investing in early-stage information technology, media and telecommunications companies. Prior to joining Masthead, Mr. Flatley was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston and Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette where he was global head of a group investing in and financing satellite and telecommunications companies. Previously, he was a principal in a mid-market buyout and M&A advisory firm. He also practiced corporate/securities law, and clerked with a federal trial court judge. Mr. Flatley's corporate board and advisor service has included Masthead portfolio companies Genesis, Netilla Networks (merged with AEP Networks), Newsgator, Tacoda Systems, and TripConnect as well as Phillips, Nuron (sold to Intel), and Mail.com (predecessor to Easylink Services (NASDAQ: EASY). Mr. Flatley serves on the New Jersey Technology Council's Venture Advisory Board, the Advisory Council for the University of Notre Dame's College of Arts and Letters, and as a Trustee of the Oak Knoll School. He holds an AB from the University of Notre Dame, a JD from Georgetown University School of Law and a MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
