David H Kennedy

Bio

Mr. Kennedy retired as a Managing Director of First Reserve in 1998. He is currently a self-employed consultant and corporate director in the energy industry. He is a director of Logan International, Inc. and Nytis Exploration Company, LLC. He also served as an advisor to the RBC Energy Fund. From 1981 to 1998, Mr. Kennedy was a principal with First Reserve, joining at its founding as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and becoming a Managing Director in 1984. Mr. Kennedy’s responsibilities included deal origination and structuring and working with management teams to implement growth initiatives and exit strategies. From 1974 to 1981, Mr. Kennedy was with PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Francisco and New York where his responsibilities included tax and audit services for corporate clients. He left as a senior tax manager in 1981 to join First Reserve. Mr. Kennedy is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
