DAVID MIN is a Principal at Steamboat Ventures and has been with the company since its founding in 2000. David has over 20 years of experience in media & entertainment and technology. Named to TheFunded.com's list of top-ranked individual venture capitalists the last 3 years, David focuses on investments in digital media, consumer internet, social media and games. David currently serves on the board of directors of Voodoovox and is a board observer on SonicLiving. David's prior investments include Playdom (acquired by The Walt Disney Company) and Scrapblog (acquired by Mixbook). Additionally, he served on the board of Industrious Kid, which built a safe social networking platform for tweens called Imbee.com. Prior to Steamboat, David worked for over 5 years in various capacities in corporate strategic planning at The Walt Disney Company. Earlier in his career, David worked as a producer and screenwriter in television and motion pictures for Warner Brothers and as a Creative Executive in motion picture development for Imagine Entertainment. Throughout his career, David has worked with all of the major Hollywood Studios including CBS, Miramax, Sony Pictures, Universal and his past experience also includes working with the industry leading pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline. David received an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Business, and he has both a BS in Biology and a BA in Telecommunications from Indiana University.
