Donn Clendenon Jr., an accomplished serial entrepreneur, is a partner at Artists & Instigators. Over the last 20 years, Donn has led companies in the Sports & Entertainment, Non-Profit, Real Estate, and Gaming industries. Donn is currently the acting Chief Operating Office of The King Center in Atlanta, GA, lending his entrepreneurial skills on a pro Bono basis to assist The King Center develop and implement a self-sustaining operating strategy. Donn spent the first several years of his professional career in the investment banking industry. In 1995, he joined the technology company, MPG-NET (Multiplayer Games Network), as Managing Director of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development. He then went on to secure venture funding for the company and negotiated its acquisition by a publicly traded company, then known as Interactive Magic (IENT). In 1997, he founded World Gaming Corporation (WGC), which after eight months was delivering more than 100,000,000 ad impressions. Sold to Women.com in 1999, WGC’s revenues represented 80% of all revenue generated by Women.com in its first two years as a publicly traded company. Donn later founded I-Sun Networks and V3 Networks. Tapping into the burgeoning Facebook phenomenon of social networks, I-Sun was one of the first social networking technology companies, eventually growing to over 100 employees. V3 Networks continues to profitably service the online bingo community. Most recently, Donn co-founded Heatwave Interactive with Anthony Castoro. Heatwave Interactive is an interactive IP studio and online publisher, creating innovative cross-media properties, including a social networking game servicing the music industry called Platinum Life. Heatwave was also contracted by MTV to help develop its virtual worlds strategy. Donn is also engaged in real-estate transactions, having vertically integrated a mortgage company, two real-estate development companies, a general contracting company, and a title company. Overall, Donn has developed and built more than $50 million in residential and commercial real estate. Donn was a quadruple major at Temple University and earned a BBA in Finance, a BA in Architecture, a BS in Psychology and a BS in Computer Science.
