Bio

Co-founded Platform and serves as its President. Fred, along with Fred Lummis, is responsible for managing all aspects of the investment activities of Platform including capital raising, investment sourcing, due diligence and management of portfolio companies. Prior to founding Platform, he was a Partner of The CapStreet Group, where he worked since 2000. Prior to joining CapStreet, Fred worked for the private equity firms of Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst and Willis, Stein & Partners after starting his career in investment banking at CS First Boston. Fred serves on the Board of Directors of Landmark FBO, TRE Financial Services, Avalon Advisors, Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, Evergreen Industrial Services, and Vaalco Energy, Inc. (NYSE: EGY). He received his BBA from the Business Honors Program at the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA from Stanford University.
