G V Kumar ('GV'), Partner with Aureos India and based in Mumbai, has over 14 years of Private Equity experience. GV joined Aureos India at Bangalore in May 2005 and was part of the team that setup India operations. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment management including sourcing, negotiations & structuring and execution of transactions across industries. GV has led transactions in Hind High Vacuum (engineering), Continental Warehousing Corporation (Nhave Seva) Ltd (logistics), and Ordyn Technologies (telecom equipments). He currently serves on the Board of Directors of HHV Solar Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Prior to joining Aureos, GV had a nine year stint as Vice President-Investments with ICICI Venture, one of India's leading private equity fund managers, where he sourced, executed and managed transactions across a number of sectors. GV is a Mechanical Engineer from NIT Suratkal and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Pre MBA, GV worked with Tata Motors as the line engineer in charge of the front axle assembly line.
