George L Majoros

Bio

Mr Majoros joined predecessor firm Wasserstein Perella in 1993. Prior to joining Wasserstein Perella, Mr Majoros practiced law with Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue, where he specialized in contested takeovers, leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions and corporate and securities law. Mr Majoros currently serves on the Board of Directors of Harry & David. He previously served on the Boards of Directors of American Seafoods Group, ALM Media, MasterCraft Boat Company, where he was the Co-Chairman, Maybelline, Sunbelt Plastics, Collins & Aikman and Yardley of London, where he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of its North American business. Mr Majoros received his AB in Economics from the University of Michigan and his JD from Case Western Reserve University Law School, where he was Managing Editor of the Law Review. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Case Western Reserve University and the Vice Chairman of the Investment Committee for its endowment fund. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
