Harlan Zimmerman

Bio

Principal of Capital Z Investment Partners LLC where he is responsible for identifying and reviewing private equity and hedge fund investment opportunities in Europe. Before joining Capital Z, spent seven years at the F&C Group (formerly Foreign & Colonial), a London-based asset management company with approximately USD 100 billion of assets. At F&C, he managed both listed and private equity funds, and was on the boards of related companies managing private equity and mutual funds. Prior to joining F&C he spent four years as an investment banker at Morgan Grenfell in London and worked for a New York-based buyout firm. Graduated from the Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies, where he earned an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Wharton School of Business and an MA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Previously he graduated from the University of California (Davis) with a BA in International Relations and Russian.
