Bio

Currently the CEO and Chairman of the Board for Sanford C Bernstein LLC, a position assumed in January 2007. Prior to taking this position, served as Global Director of Research for Bernstein's US and European operations. Was formerly a senior research analyst covering the US Institutional Investor’s All-America Research Team. Prior to joining the firm in 1999, was a partner with Booz Allen Hamilton, and focused on the consumer goods and retailing sectors for 17 years. Earned a BS in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University, graduating in the top one percent of his class. MEng in operations research and an MBA from Cornell, both with distinction.
