Bio

Has been a board member of Compass since inception in 1998. Is a partner and team leader of the Funds & Investment Services Team within the Corporate/Commercial Department of Appleby. Practices in the area of corporate and commercial law, particularly investment funds. Has many years of experience as a director of offshore investment vehicles.Mr Keyes joined Appleby in 1993. Prior to that, worked with Freshfields law firm in London from 1989 to 1992. Member of the Bermuda International Business Association’s committee on collective investment schemes. Has an entry in the “The International Who’s Who of Private Funds Lawyers”, is a frequent speaker at hedge fund conferences and regularly contributes to industry journals. MA with Honours from Oxford University, Rhodes Scholar. Called to the bar of England & Wales in 1991 and to the Bermuda Bar in 1993.
