Bio

Ms Katancik joined Active in 2005. After joining Active for a 6-week internship, Ms Katancik was asked to stay on as a member of the team. Ms Katancik grew up in Prague, Japan and London, where she attended local schools. She is fluent in five languages (Russian, Japanese, Czech, Slovakian and English) and can also converse in Spanish and French. Her experience of different cultures has fuelled her commercial awareness, in particular the extent to which cultures affect consumer markets and corporate strategies across the world. Ms Katancik joined Active after graduating from Peterhouse, Cambridge in 2005 in Economics. At university, Ms Katancik edited and produced the college magazine and led the business-side of the Cambridge University Fashion show.
