Bio

Has been a portfolio manager at 3i since 2003 and has more than four years of international business experience. Started his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young before joining Chase Manhattan as an analyst. He then joined TelePizza as an international corporate development executive, eventually becoming a corporate development manager and assistant to the CEO. Specialises in portfolio management for industrial companies, and works on exit strategies. Key deals that he has been involved in include: the divestment of Imaginarium, an educational toy retailer; the turn-around of Alulux, a manufacturer and distributor of aluminium carpentry and shutters; and Exoliva, a processor and distributor of olives. Serves on the boards of Bermármol, Alulux, Aceros Bergara and Pomar. He is also a fellow of the CUNEF business school. MBA from IESE. Has degrees in economics and a BA from CUNEF in Madrid. Speaks Spanish, Catalan, French and English.
