Mr. Chen is responsible for portfolio company financial and operational due diligence activities, as well as portfolio company oversight. Prior to joining Gores in 2010, Mr. Chen was a consultant at Bain & Company with a focus on private-equity due diligence, competitive strategy, and customer retention in the Technology, Distribution, and Mobile Communications sectors. Prior to joining Bain & Company full time, Mr. Chen was a consultant intern in Bain & Company's Private Equity Group. Mr. Chen graduated from the University of California Berkeley in 2007 with a BS in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business, and a minor in Industrial Engineering Operations Research from the College of Engineering.
