Bio
Joined HgCapital in July 2007 from GE Energy Financial Services. During the last three years, has worked on several equity and debt investments throughout Europe in the renewable energy, thermal energy and oil & gas sectors. Prior to GE, worked at BHP Billiton in the corporate mergers and acquisitions team, where he focused on energy and diamond transactions. Mr Thomassen started his career as a business developer at BP. Master of Science in Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and University of St Gallen.
