Joined HgCapital in 2006 having previously worked for ten years at DaimlerChrysler where he held several positions including Head of Controlling (DC Truck Group), Director Corporate Strategy (DC Commercial Vehicle Division), CFO Transmissions (DC Commercial Vehicle Division) and Senior Manager in the M&A department of DC. Prior to that was a management consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and worked in the Treuhandanstalt, Berlin, the former holding company for all of the East German industry. Director on the board of FTSA (First Technology Safety and Analysis), Fabory, Mondo and Schleich. Degree in Economics and Business Administration with majors in planning/strategy, controlling and mechanical engineering from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, as well as an MBA from Portland State University, Portland, Oregon.
