Bio

John joined Weston Presidio in 2005. John founded and is Managing Partner of Dorset Capital, a private equity fund formed in 1998 focused on providing capital to growth companies in consumer industries. Formerly, John was a Senior Managing Director and Director of the Retail and Consumer Products Investment Banking Group at Banc of America Securities and Montgomery Securities. Prior to joining Montgomery Securities, John worked in the investment banking department of Morgan Stanley & Co. John has participated in more than 135 public and private financings and advisory assignments and raised nearly $15.0 billion for growth companies. As a partner of Dorset Capital, he served on the Board of Directors of several Weston Presidio portfolio companies, including Hanna Andersson and Schurman Fine Papers. John currently serves on the Board of Directors of Evenflo, Integrity Interactive, Micro Power and Robbins Bros. John received a BA, Magna Cum Laude, from Williams College and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
