Bio

Led the team advising on the investment in Tank & Rast and was responsible for its refinancing in 2006 and the partial exit in 2007. Was also heavily involved in the group’s pub businesses. From September 2007, to October 2009 was seconded on a full-time basis into the EMI Recorded Music business as Group Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining the group in 1998, worked for Nomura heading the legal team that provided legal risk analysis and transaction execution support for the group. Prior to that, was a partner in the Banking department with the law firm of Winthrop & Weinstine. Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance from the University of Iowa and has a Juris Doctor also from the University of Iowa.
