Lance Whitehead

Bio

Mr Whitehead founded Cygnus Capital in 2002, spinning out of Dresdner Kleinwort Capital. He has worked with a wide range of alternative fund managers, including: Gartmore, Suez Asia Equity Associates, Wasserstein Perella, Bridgepoint, SVG Capital, Energy Investors Fund, August Capital, HBM BioCapital, Mistral Windfarms, and Chicago Growth Partners. Since establishing Cygnus Capital he has undertaken some major private placement mandates, including the financing of CNBC Arabia, the first pan-Arab satellite business TV station, and Oman Oil’s acquisition of Compañia Logística de Hidrocaburos SA, the largest petroleum and logistics company in Spain. Mr Whitehead is now Managing Director of Landmark Partners Europe LLC, the leading private equity and real estate manager, responsible for investor relations, fundraising and deal sourcing in Europe and the Middle East.
