Marcia Burkey has over 20 years of experience in investment and financial management and operations at various senior level positions. Marcia’s investment experience has focused on financial structuring, capital raising and portfolio management for individual projects and corporations in such sectors as power, technology and telecommunications, water, transportation and real estate. Marcia has spent the majority of her career at Bechtel Corporation and SBC Warburg.Marcia is a Managing Director with TeleSoft. Marcia recently concluded an assignment as CFO on the Destiny USA project team in Syracuse, NY raising capital to allow the project to commence construction utilizing innovative sustainable construction techniques. Prior to TeleSoft, Marcia was in a series of financial roles including Senior Vice President and Partner of Bechtel Group, Inc. As Chief Financial Officer of Bechtel Enterprises, Bechtel’s investment division, Marcia was responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis, control, tax, treasury, corporate finance and technology efforts. Prior to joining Bechtel, Marcia was at SBC Warburg in several corporate and project finance positions. While at SBC Warburg, Marcia directed the firm’s Latin America project finance business and domestic public utility corporate finance presence. Ms. Burkey received her Masters degree from Columbia University and her Bachelors degree, Phi Beta Kappa, from Macalester College.
