Mark E. Scully, 52, joined GCP as Managing Director in October, 2010. From January 2008 through September 2010 Mr. Scully was the owner and principal of Scully Partners, LLC where as the local JV partner for GCP he led all the acquisition, leasing and development efforts in Steamboat Springs, CO and Boulder, CO. From 1991 - 2007 Mr. Scully was a Senior Vice President with The Blackstone Group and Equity Office Properties Trust in a variety of senior management positions. In his final role he led the National Leasing Team in the annual leasing of over 10 million square feet of office space. He also led all aspects of the development efforts that resulted in Build-to-Suit headquarter transactions for three fortune 500 companies from 2004-2007. Prior to his national leasing role, as Regional Senior Vice-President, he led the 8.4 million square foot Southeast Region team in all aspects of asset management, development, operations and leasing. Prior to joining Equity Office in 1991, Mr. Scully was a project manager with The Kaempfer Company where he led the development of multiple office/retail projects in Washington DC and Rosslyn, Virginia. Mr. Scully received his MBA from the University of Michigan where he received the General Electric Fellowship for excellence in business and technology. He also received his BS, with honors, in Information Systems Technology from the University of Maryland in 1981. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and has also been a member and award winning guest speaker at CoreNet. He currently is a guest lecturer at The University of Colorado Business School.
