Mel Davidson

Bio

Mel has been with the firm since its inception in 1999. She applies her 16 years of experience in venture capital to managing NAV’s investor relations, accounting, financial reporting, and legal compliance. Prior to NAV, Mel was Manager of Administration at InteliData Technologies Corp., working primarily on SEC filings, stock administration, contracts and the annual meeting/proxy process, as well as in the accounting and human resources areas. Prior to InteliData, Mel worked in venture capital at both Rural America Fund, a $20 million SBIC, and Allied Capital Advisers, at the time an investment adviser to four public and two private investment companies, where she assisted the president and worked with the legal, accounting and human resources departments, coordinated SEC filings for five public companies, and designed the company’s first contact database.
