Michael E Alger

Bio

Michael E. Alger, Group CFO, has over 28 years of experience in senior finance and operations management roles. Prior to joining to Sun Capital in 2007, Mr. Alger served as the CFO for Indalex Aluminum Solutions, a Sun Capital portfolio company, from 2000 to 2007. He started his career as an auditor with Price Waterhouse. Prior to Indalex, he served as Vice President of Finance for Favorite Brands, a large multi-brand confection company, and as CFO for Jel Sert and Olds Products, both food companies, from 1993 through 1998. Prior to that, he held a number of senior finance positions with Kraft General Foods and Baxter International. Mr. Alger received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from University of Illinois, a Masters of Management in Finance from Northwestern University, and is a CPA.
