Nakul Zaveri

Bio

Mr Zaveri joined GEF as an employee of GEF Advisors India in 2011 and is responsible for managing ESG activities, as well as sourcing and executing investments, in the South Asia portfolio. He brings extensive experience in carbon finance, renewable energy projects, and private equity transactions. Prior to joining GEF, Mr Zaveri was the Principal Investment Consultant at Climate Change Capital (CCC) in India, a leading London based investment management firm. Prior to that, Mr. Zaveri was Associate Vice President with Ecosecurities India, a leading environmental finance organization. Mr Zaveri also worked at the accounting firm Arthur Andersen in Mumbai. Mr Zaveri is currently in the Executive MBA program at the Said Business School, University of Oxford. He has completed the Applied Finance Program from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and Private Equity Program from the University of Oxford. He holds a BA in Commerce & Economics from the University of Mumbai and is proficient in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
