Nick Evans

Bio

Nick Evans joined Active Private Equity Advisory LLP as a Partner in 2007. From 1989 – 1994 he worked for Bain and Company in London, Hong Kong, San Francisco and Paris. He was a founding member of the Bain Hong Kong operations. From 1997 – 2003 Nick was the UK Managing Partner for Mitiska NV, a Belgian public quoted company making direct investments in retail and consumer businesses, where he lead the investments in Brantano UK, AS Adventure and Cotswold Outdoor Ltd. Nick was also a Partner at Net Fund Europe, a £70m private equity fund established by Mitiska. Between 2003 – 2006 Nick was the CEO at MW Group Ltd in London (a group consisting of Mappin & Webb, Watches of Switzerland and TM Sutton) which he successfully returned to profitability and then sold to Baugur. Since joining Active Nick has sourced and led the purchase of majority stake FW Evans Cycles Ltd, becoming the Executive Chairman. He is also Chairman at Leon Restaurants Ltd and the Chairman at Rapha Racing Ltd. Nick graduated from Cambridge University in 1989 with BA Honours in Economics. In 1995 Nick graduated from INSEAD, with an MBA.
