Bio

Before setting up AKO Capital, was a partner at Egerton Capital (1997-2002) and was voted Best Individual European Small Cap Fund Manager by finance directors in the Reuters Survey in both 1999 and in 2001, i.e. in two of the three years the survey was in existence. Prior to joining Egerton, worked as an equity analyst at Cazenove & Co (1992-1997) and built up and headed the Nordic department. Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (1989-1991) and between July 1986 and December 1987 served in the Norwegian Armed Forces’ School of Intelligence and Security and took Russian language studies and was trained in interrogation and translation. In between Egerton and the setting up of AKO Capital, also completed a Masters in the History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London.
