Bio
A partner with Velocity Financial Group before teaming with NXT Capital to establish NXT Venture Finance, Peter spent more than 15 years completing venture financing transactions and more than 10 years specializing in life science and healthcare venture capital markets. Prior to joining Velocity, Peter was a Director for TriplePoint Capital, where he focused on financing emerging life sciences companies. His background also includes serving as a Principal with San Francisco-based Telegraph Hill Partners, a private equity firm focused exclusively on the life science, healthcare and med-tech markets; Vice President of Business Development for United Emergency Services, a venture-backed healthcare services company that was sold to EDCare; and as an Associate with The Aurora Funds. Earlier in his career, Peter worked as a Senior Consultant with Deloitte’s middle market consulting group and its advisory practice. Peter holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a cum laude B.S. in Accounting from North Carolina State University.
