Peter R Gates

Bio

Peter is one of the three founding partners of MedEquity Capital. At MedEquity, he has had extensive experience working with businesses in the areas of cost containment, medical technology, and specialty pharmacy. He has been active in the healthcare industry for 20 years and, prior to MedEquity, has held senior executive positions at GE Healthcare and Concentra, Inc. He began his professional career in strategy consulting with Bain & Company, where he served as a Partner from 1982 to 1988. He has served as a director of MediChem Life Sciences, Heartlab, Inc., Decision Management International, Inc., and OnCure Medical Corp., and currently serves as a director of Crescent Healthcare, Inc., EnduraCare Therapy Management, Inc., and PharmaLogic Holdings Corporation. He also currently serves as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Vincent Memorial Hospital at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He is a graduate of Princeton University and the Harvard Business School.
