Richard Prytula

Bio

Richard Prytula is President and Founding Managing Partner of TechnoCap Inc. Richard is a director of YottaYotta Inc. and Hyperchip Inc. and an observer at board meetings of other TechnoCap investee companies - the TechnoAffiliates. Richard is a co-founder & builder of massively scalable technology companies such as YottaYotta, Hyperchip and BigBangwidth. Richard has participated in research and development technology transfer with the US Navy, US Geological Survey, University of Saskatchewan Electrical Engineering, l'Institut Géographique National de Paris and National Research Council of Canada. He has presented technical and management papers at various international conferences. Richard participated in the Canadian Advanced Technology Association (CATA) since 1983. He served as a director of CATA from 1985 to 1990, and as an executive committee member and Treasurer from 1987 to 1989. Richard also participated in the Aerospace Industries Association from 1980 to 1988, the American Turnaround Management Association since 1989 and the Association of Venture Capital Companies since 1982. From 1989 to 1992, Richard was President of Capital Turncap Inc. From 1982 to 1988, Richard was Chairman, President and controlling shareholder of the LNS Group. Prior to his nine years with LNS, Richard spent five years as Marketing Manager and Chief of Computer Systems Development for startup companies Dynamap Ltd. (Saskatoon) and Instronics Ltd. (Ottawa), designers and manufacturers of computer graphics and digital mapping systems and products. Richard holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. Richard is bilingual in English and French.
