Robert J Dougherty

Robert J. Dougherty is responsible for ensuring strict underwriting standards, risk analysis, due diligence, pricing and structuring on Buchanan investments. He is a member of the Buchanan Investment Committee and leads the execution of that committee. Mr. Dougherty is integral in the incubation of new funds and investment programs. He has 20 years of commercial real estate experience including 10 years with CarrAmerica Realty Corporation and has an extensive background in acquisitions, financing, and asset management of office properties and retail centers that includes property transactions totaling in excess of $1 billion. Prior to joining Buchanan, Mr. Dougherty headed up his own retail investment advisory firm and also held investment and asset management positions with First Washington Realty and The Crosland Group, Inc. Mr Robert J. Dougherty holds a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School at the University of Virginia
