Robert Velarde

Bio

Mr Velarde works out of JPMorgan Partners' office in Mexico City. Prior to joining JPMorgan Partners in 2001, Mr Velarde was with JP Morgan Capital for five years. Prior to joining JP Morgan Capital, Mr Velarde worked at American International Group, where he was actively involved in the formation of the AIG Latin America Equity Partners Fund. Previously, Mr Velarde held various corporate finance and M&A advisory positions at GPA Group plc and Kidder, Peabody & Co. Mr Velarde received a BA from Northwestern University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
