Sam Shimer

Bio

Mr Shimer has been with J.H. Whitney since 2004. Prior to joining J.H. Whitney, he was a Managing Director for Counsel Corporation. Prior to Counsel, he worked for merchant banking funds affiliated with Lazard Frères & Co, The Blackstone Group and Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated. Mr Shimer is a Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, BS and Harvard University Graduate School of Business, MBA.
