Bio

Responsible for global fundraising, investments, compliance and new products at Essel Finance Advisors & Managers (EFAM), which is currently raising a domestic AIF fund. EFAM has a multi-sector focus and aims to follow up its real estate HY debt fund with education, media and SME themes. He has 14 years of experience in the field of Banking, Indian Private Equity, Real Estate Finance, Investments, Fund raising and Advisory. Prior to this, he led corporate development, products and fundraising activities of the domestic arm of Pramerica BHI, the Indian partner of $40B Pramerica Global Real Estate Investors (PREI). In his previous role, he was Head of Asian Investments at Rhodius Partners, London. At Rhodius Partners, he led the firm’s investment initiative for India and ran investment / advisory deals with multiple Indian developers. He was also instrumental in streamlining Rhodius Partner’s fund sources for Indian investments and was also involved in Rhodius Partners’ European projects in real estate space. Prior to Rhodius partners, he worked with ICICI Bank Dubai where he was last involved in raising funds from GCC region primarily for large PE and PERE firms like ICICI Ventures, Urban Infrastructure, JM Financials, Russell FoF, etc. He has previously been involved in business development/ banking roles with ICICI Bank and other financial institutions in India. Masters in Finance from London Business School, London and MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj, India.
