Tim Lawrence

Bio

Tim joined Hotbed in April 2006 and has 15 years of venture capital and private equity experience. He has held senior positions with Causeway Capital, ABN Amro Capital and Bridges Community Ventures. Prior to this, he spent eight years with Price Waterhouse where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant before specialising in corporate reconstruction and insolvency. He has invested in businesses in a wide range of sectors and stages in both unquoted and quoted companies. These transactions have typically involved equity investments of between £1m and £5m. Tim has a degree in law from University College, Cardiff. Tim led the MBO of Atlantic Foods with a £5.1m Hotbed investment and Hotbed's growth capital investment in Original Travel.
