Timothy J Kacani

Bio

Tim Kacani is the Chief Financial Officer at Lightyear Capital. He oversees the accounting and reporting functions for Lightyear Capital, including external reporting to limited partners, coordination of audits, tax structuring, and annual budgeting and forecasting. Prior to joining Lightyear Capital in April 2001, Mr. Kacani worked at JP Morgan Partners as a Vice President of Investment Partnerships, Tax, and Distributions. Prior to JP Morgan, Mr. Kacani worked at Brother International Corporation for four years as a Manager for financial reporting, where he oversaw the preparation and review of all company financial documentation. Mr. Kacani began his career at KPMG, where he spent six years in a variety of audit positions and an additional three years in the executive office overseeing the financial reporting for the consolidated U.S. division of KPMG. Mr. Kacani serves on the Board of Directors of Lightyear Capital portfolio company BakerCorp. Mr. Kacani received a B.S. in Accounting from The University of Scranton. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
