Bio

Mr Rynning-Nielsen has more than 20 years of international corporate finance experience, including as a principal, an advisor and an investor. In 1999 he founded the private education company B+W Learning Systems AS, and grew that company through both acquisitions and organic growth in Norway and Sweden. He was president and CEO of the company until 2003. Mr Rynning-Nielsen has also held positions as managing director of Enskilda Securities' Norwegian operations and as senior vice president and treasurer of Holberg Industrier Inc. in Greenwich, Connecticut. From 1985 to 1988, Mr Rynning-Nielsen worked at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets in New York, responsible for origination of fixed income instruments for clients in Europe and Asia. Mr Rynning-Nielsen holds a BBA magna cum laude degree from the University of Massachusetts, Anmherst and an MBA degree from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
