W Gregory Shearer

Bio

Mr. Shearer has spent more than 25 years in the venture capital and investment banking industries, including 13 years with exclusive focus on the medical technology industry. Earlier in his career, Mr. Shearer was associated with The First Boston Corporation, Kidder, Peabody & Co. Incorporated, and Morgan Stanley & Co., Incorporated, where he was responsible for the origination and execution of transactions across a wide range of industries Prior to founding Channel Medical Partners, Mr. Shearer was a Managing Director at Jefferies & Company, Inc. and Vector Securities International, Inc. with senior responsibility for companies within the medical technology industry. Mr. Shearer serves on the Board of Directors of several private medical technology companies in Channel’s investment portfolio, and has served on the Board of Bethel New Life and as President of the Centre College Alumni Association. Mr. Shearer received a B.A. degree from Centre College and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
