Yuval became a venture capitalist in 1986, after a successful career as an entrepreneur. His extensive experience encompasses every aspect of building a successful company – strategy, operations, mergers and acquisitions and public offerings. His track record includes being the lead investor in Advanced Fibre Communications (acquired by Tellabs; Nasdaq: TLAB), Cerus (Nasdaq: CERS), Macromedia (acquired by Adobe, Nasdaq: ADBE), Magnet Communications (acquired by Digital Insight; Nasdaq: DGIN), Optical Solutions (acquired by Calix) and vizrt (Neuer Market-Frankfurt: VIZ). Yuval co-founded Zoran Corporation (Nasdaq: ZRAN), a digital signal processor company in Silicon Valley. Prior to that, Yuval held staff and line positions with Raychem. He served as a fighter pilot, systems officer and instructor with the Israeli Air Force prior to relocating to the United States.
