Christopher Burden

Bio

Mr Burden is the Chief Operating Officer of Vatera Capital LLC. Mr Burden has also served as the Chief Operating Officer of Ferro Capital LLC since its 2001 inception and Oikos Advisors LLC since its 2007 inception. Prior to the inception of Ferro Capital, Mr Burden was the Head of Product Development for Commerzbank Securities' Alternative Investment Strategies Group, where he was responsible for structuring of alternative investment products and legal aspects of private equity and hedge fund investments. Prior to that, Mr Burden worked as an attorney in the Asset Management Group of the law firm Shearman & Sterling, where his practice included a wide range of private equity fund structural and transactional issues. Mr Burden is a graduate of Cornell University and American University School of Law, where he was senior editor of the Law Review.
