Bio

Dan Cook has spent over 40 years serving as an investment banker to many of the largest and most successful companies in the United States. Mr. Cook is retired from Goldman, Sachs, & Co., where he served as a partner of the firm. Mr. Cook led the firm’s Dallas office and served as the senior banker for many of the firm’s largest clients. Currently, Mr. Cook serves on the board of TD Ameritrade, as well as the board of trustees of Southern Methodist University, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Boy Scouts of America, Parks and Wildlife Foundation of Texas and Southwestern Medical Foundation. He is also former chairman of the Vice President’s Residence Foundation in Washington, D.C. He previously served on the board of directors of Brinker International and Centex Corporation. Mr. Cook earned his M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and his B.A. from Stanford University. He is also a former Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy.
