Dick Collard

Bio

Mr Collard has been in the forefront of European technology operations for almost thirty years, most recently setting up and running businesses delivering applications and tools across Europe to telecommunications and financial services industries. He set up Template Software UK in 1995, later promoted to VP of European Operations in 1996, prior to the company's IPO on NASDAQ in 1997. Under his guidance Template's European operations grew from 3 people in 1995 to close to 200 people with annual revenues in excess of USD 25 million, over 50% of worldwide revenue. Prior to this he founded Instrumatic UK, the European arm of a Pan-European supplier of high technology hardware and software solutions to industry in 1983 and built this business up to GBP 10 million revenues after which he took over as Executive VP for the parent company with responsibility for both operations and M&A. His technical background, coupled with his career experience results in an almost unique blend of solid technical 'know how' coupled with real hands on management experience in high technology business, both hardware and software based. Mr Collard holds a BSc in Computer Engineering and Business Studies from Sussex University.
