Dr Al-Refaei is Regional Director of Amphion Innovations plc for the Middle East. Dr Al-Refaei works on extending Amphion's business ties to the Middle East and managing the day-to-day activities of Amphion and its Partner Companies in the region. Dr Al-Refaei has over 7 years of healthcare-sector experience and operational experience in building and managing companies in the Middle East. Dr Al-Refaei is the co-founder and CEO of Saydanah, an Amphion Partner Company under establishment. Dr Al-Refaei has completed his Masters Degree in Healthcare Management (Distinction) from the University of Wales, Swansea. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from Aberdeen University, Scotland, for which he received The Amiri Honorary Medal for Scientific Achievement from the Kuwaiti Government.
